• Place a soft tape measure around your waist while wearing Polly shirt where you would like the belt to sit and take note of the measurement. Avoid taking this measurement too tight in order to accommodate the width of the finished strap.

  • Put on your Service Jacket and take a second waist measurement. This measurement will be taken higher up on the waist between the 3rd and 4th lower buttons on your jacket, see reference below. Take note of this measurement.

  • Shoulder Strap measurement is taken from the point where your belt will sit under the left pocket. Run the soft tape measure over the right shoulder and to a similar point on the back and take note of measurement. This step must be repeated for Polly and Service dress as the strap length will vary due to the Waist Belt being worn at different heights. Service jacket shoulder measurement will be shorter.

TIP: After determining where you would like your Waist Belt to sit use an ordinary belt and place in this position. This will give you a fixed point to take your Shoulder Strap measurement from.

  • Compare your measurements with sizes listed in SHOP and take note of the size range of each individual product listing.

EXAMPLE: For a Polly waist measurement of 63cm and Service Jacket of 69cm this will require a Sam Browne Belt SMALL size 66 as these measurements are within the individual size range.
